Six Greenwood Police Department officers received plaques during Tuesday’s Greenwood City Council meeting. From left are Police Chief Serafin Simon Jr., Officer Hollis Myrick, Lt. Members of the Greenwood Police Department involved in a shooting incident on Dec. 22 were honored with plaques during Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
A total of six officers received plaques, including three who were wounded during the incident, after a person facing a mental health condition allegedly fired an assault rifle.
