North 4A playoffs: Bulldogs open with Warriors

Greenwood hasn’t had much recent playoff success.
Since 2019, the Bulldogs have made the postseason for just the third time. They were bounced in the first round a year ago, losing 25-12 to New Albany and falling 35-0 to Louisville in 2022’s opening round.

Services for Lula B. Freeman of Itta Bena will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
Ms. Freeman, 93, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.
