The city of Greenwood took time to honor one of its own Black heroes Tuesday afternoon in front of City Hall.
City leaders unveiled a new banner honoring the late Dorothy “Dot” Glenn, also known as Dorothy Nichols, as a part of Black History Month. The banner is displayed at the intersection of Main Street and Church Street.
