I wish the Commonwealth would ask the Greenwood Chief of Police and the Leflore County Sheriff why nothing is being done to stop the loud vehicles speeding and street racing on Grand Boulevard and other main streets in the city and just outside the city limits, especially the Viking connector road to Mississippi Highway 7.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.
