Leflore County wrapped up the regular season with a 28-0 win at Leland High School in a Region 4-2A contest Thursday night.
The Tigers, who are 7-2 overall and finish 4-0 in league play, will host a first-round North 2A playoff game Nov. 4 in Itta Bena. Brackets will be announced this weekend.
Leflore led 8-0 after the first as Dezmond Ray scored from five yards out and had the 2-point run. In the second, Dante Kelly scored on a four-yard run, and Ray ran in from 25 yards out. He also had the 2-point conversion for a 22-0 lead at the half. Kelly scored on a four-yard run the third.
Ray had 125 yards on 10 carries, and D’Rion Freeman had 60 yards on four tries. Greg Moore had 56 yards on six carries, and Tavian Dean had 55 yards on six totes. Kelly finished with 52 yards on four carries.
-Humphreys County 32, Amanda Elzy 16 — The Panthers closed the regular season at 5-5 overall and 2-2 in Region 3-3A with the home loss to the Cowboys.
Don Powell and Jason Wallace scored touchdowns. Kaleb Williams and Jevarion Glover had 2-pointer conversions.
-Eupora 50, J.Z. George 16 — The Jaguars gave up 27 first-quarter points as they fell to the Eagles Thursday night in Eupora.
The Jags got a 10-yard TD pass from JT Mann to Keiyhaun Wilks in the third period, and a 10-yard run from Shamarion Applewhite in the fourth.
J.Z. George (6-3 overall) will host a North 2A first-round game Nov. 4 in North Carrollton.
