The Pillow Academy and Delta Streets Academy soccer teams will be in Vicksburg Saturday as they participate in the St. Aloysius Tournament.
The Mustangs (8-2) will play Manchester Academy at 3 p.m. and Madison St. Joe at 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, Pillow took on Indianola Academy at Chazzy Moor Field, claiming a 13-0 win. Senior Lawson Harvey led the way with five goals and two assists.
Wells Wilson started the route with a goal on an assist from Harvey. Harvey got the second goal on a free kick, and scored goals three and four for Pillow on assists from Serafin Simon III and Kevin Hernandez.
Hernandez made it 5-0 on an assist from Harvey, and Harvey got his final two goals on assists from Walker Saia and Ruben Martinez.
Landon Shackleford made it 8-0 on an assist from Hunter Barry. Wilson got his second goal on an assist from Barry, and Saia made it 10-0 on another assist from Barry. Sumner Tackett scored on an assist from Mize Fleming, and Barry scored with an assist from Shackleford. Hernandez closed out the scoring with a goal on a corner kick.
Following the tournament, Pillow will play at Starkville Academy Monday.
-Delta Streets: The Lions, who played Friday night at Starkville Academy, will play two games each with the varsity and junior varsity teams Saturday.
The varsity team will take on Cathedral High School at 9 a.m., while the JV team will play Manchester at 10:30 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., the JV team takes on Adams County Christian School, and the varsity team will play Madison St. Joe at 3 p.m.
All games at the tournament will only have 30-minute halves.
DSA plays at Manchester Wednesday.
