Instructions

Help The Greenwood Commonwealth select the winner of its annual Community Service Award. Nominate someone who you think has rendered outstanding service -- past or present -- to the greater Greenwood community. The nominee should be an individual who demonstrates qualities of initiative, creativity and leadership; who perseveres in working toward the long-term betterment of community life; who sets a strong example for others through their professional or volunteer efforts. The nominee should be 21 years of age or older and a resident of the greater Greenwood community. Deadline for nominations is Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. The winner will be announced on Feb. 28, 2026, in the newspaper's Profile Edition, its largest publication of the year.
