Mr. and Mrs. Scott Carroll of Greenwood announce the birth of their daughter, Madeline Scott Carroll, who was born Oct. 14, 2008, at Grenada Lake Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.
Her maternal grandparents are Jeffy Rivers Alford of Greenwood and the late Patricia Wiltshire Alford.
