Anthony Newsome of Arcadia, La., formerly of Greenville, has announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of his daughter, Deshunda Machell Williams of Memphis, to Willie B. Henry Jr., also of Memphis.
Ms. Williams also is the daughter of the late Vernice Newsome and the late Joe Birkhead III.
