My Friend Had an NDE. Here's What He Saw.
Years ago, a good friend told our church what happened the first time he died. His account left the entire church in awe. I wanted to share his experience here.
He was in his late forties and had a heart attack. He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital, but it was too late. He was gone. He flew up through a long, black tunnel and could hear singing all around him. He was essentially a ball of energy, since he didn't have his body. He felt wonderfully free! Without a skull to force his eyeballs forward, he could see in 360 degrees, all the way around him! It was startling and miraculous! He cherished the experience as one not attainable by anyone in an earthly body!
Meanwhile, his wife and children were in the hospital lobby, holding hands in a circle, praying fervently for him to be allowed to return to his body. If they had only known the experiences he was having!
He found himself looking out of a cave. To his right were horizontal bands of color. He described the colors as far more vibrant than anything we have on Earth! Having seen both, he said that the colors we have here are very faded.
As he looked out of the opening of the cave, he saw a lush lawn with a two story white mansion. People appeared to be having a party! They were milling about, socializing, and having a wonderful time! On the second floor balcony, he spotted his mother, who had passed several years earlier. He waved frantically at her, but she didn't see him. She was smiling and having a great time!
He was pulled back quite suddenly and came to in the hospital with a sheet over his head. He recovered from his heart attack, completely free from the fear of death! He looked forward to his second trip to Heaven!
Seven years later, his heart was having trouble maintaining the right potassium levels. His lovely wife woke up one morning to find her husband's lifeless body in bed next to her. He had passed peacefully during the night.
Can you imagine being able to see in 360 degrees at the same time, with the ability to fly? It's going to be quite a trip one day!
