Delta Streets Academy moved to 2-1 in District 3-3A with a 79-18 win at Benton Academy Tuesday night.
The Lions (3-9 overall) led 18-3 after the first period, 46-15 at the half and 70-18 after the third frame.
Kamron Hurt led DSA with 21 points, five assists and four steals, and Dameon Sanders tacked on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Kamarion Watson had 18 points, four steals and three assists, and Chris Jones had eight points, 12 boards and blocked three shots.
The junior high team picked up a 34-20 win over the Raiders as Zion McDaniel had 12 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. Jordan Meeks had 10 points, four rebounds and three steals.
DSA entertains Manchester Thursday with the varsity starting at 7 p.m.
-Carroll Academy: The Winona Christian School boys outscored the Rebels 11-10 in the fourth period to secure a 51-50 win Tuesday night in Carrollton.
Winona led 13-5 after one but Carroll (3-1) pulled to within four at 29-25 by halftime. A 15-1 run in the third tied the game at 40-40 headed to the fourth.
Noah Beck had 16 points for Carroll, and Mathis Beck chipped in nine points. Landon Grantham tallied eight, Brennan Blaylock seven and Drake Dunn six.
In the girls game, Winona claimed a 51-27 win as the Lady Stars led 7-5 after one, 23-13 at the half and 38-17 after the third period.
Anna Laken Taylor had nine points, and Bella Carter chipped in six for Carroll (2-6).
In the junior high boys game, Carroll won 32-24 as it outscored WCS 21-11 in the second half. Reed Thomas led the Rebels with 13 points, and Logan Upchurch and Cohen Blaylock had six points each.
In the junior high girls game, Winona won 24-22 as it held a 9-3 scoring advantage in the fourth. Maggie Carter had eight points, and Carlie Hoover had six for the Lady Rebels.
Carroll hosts Central Holmes Friday.
