The Leflore County circuit clerk race is headed for a runoff.
Based on Tuesday’s precinct results, Jackie Lewis led the four-candidate field with 2,746 votes, or 36%. The second-place finisher was interim Circuit Clerk Johnny Gary Jr. with 2,472 votes, or 32%.
