The city of Greenwood and Leflore County have been awarded almost $80,000 in coronavirus relief money from the federal government, Mayor Carolyn McAdams announced during Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
McAdams said U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker’s office informed her Monday about the approval of the city and county’s joint application.
