After finding out one of her former students, 17-year-old Gram Pantin, had died in a vehicular accident in Bolivar County over the weekend, Pam Burns looked back over her emails to reflect about him.
She came across the last email she had sent to Pantin’s mother, Ginny.
“Mom, remember, he’s a great kid,” the email read.
