In 2019, husband and wife Earnest and Debra Adams had a dream when they moved to Greenwood — to revive the former St. Francis Center into a once-again bustling community center.
The Adams purchased the building at 709 Ave. I from the Pax Christi Ladies, a Catholic lay women’s organization, early that year.
