Rosebloom Recreational Park’s annual Independence Day celebration will be held Saturday, July 1.
In addition to food, arts and crafts booths and live local singing, there will be a large patriotic program followed by a grand finale fireworks show.
Barbecue and hot dog plates will be available for purchase starting at 5 p.m.
A “God and Country” singing program is scheduled to begin at 6.
The patriotic program will get underway at 8, followed by the fireworks show.
This year’s festivities will also include political speeches. A fee of $25 for county-level candidates and $100 for regional and state candidates buys 15 minutes of time at the microphone and also entitles the candidate to place one political sign on the field.
Vendor booths will be available for $25.
Several food trucks are expected to be on hand.
