Three of the four Greenwood area public school football teams will play either Tuesday or Wednesday at the Super Clash Jamboree at Delta State University in Cleveland after rains forced the postponement of games Saturday.
Only Amanda Elzy was able to get in its spring game as they dropped a 28-0 decision to Charleston High School Friday night.
Greenwood High School, led by veteran coach Clinton Gatewood, will take on Rosa Fort High School at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
On Wednesday, J.Z. George High School will play at 5 p.m. against West Bolivar High School, and Leflore County High School battles Leland High School at 6 p.m.
The jamboree gets started at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with Cleveland’s JV team facing Humphreys County’s JV team. At 3:30 p.m., Greenville Christian plays South Delta, and at 4:30 p.m., O’Bannon faces Shaw High School. At 6:30 p.m., Forest Hill High School takes on Humphreys County, and at 7:30 p.m., Memphis MAHS plays Cleveland Central.
There is a $10 admission charge at the gate.
