Decision delayed on variance for Antoon building

‘People of interest’ in 2 killings ID’d

Greenwood Police Chief Terrence Craft says his investigators have been able to identify a person of interest in each of two fatal shootings from this week.
“We have a person of interest in the case of James Harvey and a person of interest in the case of Accardo Willis,” Craft said Thursday afternoon.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
