Former University of Mississippi Chancellor Dan Jones joined area physicians, other health care professionals and medical students in calling for greater accessibility of affordable health care for the residents of Mississippi on Thursday at the Mississippi State Capitol in Jackson. The medical professionals staged their visit to the Capitol, as part of the Care4MS coalition, a collection of state organizations pursuing greater access to quality, affordable health coverage and care for the state's residents.
They hoped to interact with legislators to press their concerns. (Associated Press)
