Collecting cards and playing trading card games was a childhood hobby for Ryan Harris, and he’s managed to turn it into a full-time business.
The 25-year old Greenwood native and North New Summit School graduate opened a trading card shop, ThreeRiversCollectibles, in November 2022 in a small building on Walnut Street.

Lady Mustangs claim second

Pillow Academy’s tennis team went into the MAIS 5A North Tournament on Tuesday and left with plenty of hardware.
The girls finished second overall at the tournament, which was hosted by Washington School in Greenville, and Pillow as a team had two first-place finishes and three second-place finishes.

Valley falls to Colonels

Mississippi Valley State’s bid to split the two-game season series with Nicholls State on Tuesday in Thibodaux, Louisiana, resulted in a stinging 12-3 defeat by the Colonels.
The Diamond Devils (10-27, 2-13 SWAC) lost their first game against Nicholls 10-5 on March 22. Tuesday’s loss moves Valley’s losing streak to six.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
