“We talk a lot in the South and in the Delta about our roots and where you come from,” says Angie Cole.
She was speaking from within the living room of her husband’s family home in Schlater and beginning to explain the impetus behind the current series of paintings she’s working on, which she’s titled “Roots & Wings.”
