Lawyer: Select architect for school soon

The Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School Board must soon decide on an architect for a high school the board has voted to build as part of the district’s consolidation process if a bond issue to fund the new school is to be put up for public vote before the end of the year.

Greenwood Leflore Hospital: Key document for line of credit approved

Leflore County supervisors have approved the last piece of paperwork needed before the Mississippi Development Bank moves forward in formalizing an up to $10 million line of credit for which the county has applied in order to keep Greenwood Leflore Hospital afloat.
