Tamara Allen, who lost her two children to a domestic-violence-related homicide in 2023, sits inside the Greenwood synagogue on East Market Street that she recently acquired. That building will serve as the site for her nonprofit, dedicated in memory of her children, to address trauma and domestic violence in the community.
