A trial for a civil suit over the death of a rider in the 2019 Bikes, Blues & Bayous has been scheduled for March 18, 2024.
The lawsuit, which is more than four years old, was filed by the family of Jim O’Daniel, a civil engineer from Clinton who was participating in that year’s ride.
