BLACK HAWK — In March, a vicious tornado ripped through Carroll County, taking three lives and destroying property.
One of the areas hit in the statewide storm was the small town of Black Hawk. In minutes, historic buildings such as the Old Black Hawk House and the Black Hawk Independent Church, were demolished.
