Greenwood City Clerk Carla Williams said that the city’s $3 million general fund from July 1 has nearly been depleted.
To that end, the City Council passed by a 4-1 vote to begin the process of doing a forensic audit to help determine what happened to the money. Ward 6’s Dorothy Glenn voted no.
