JACKSON - A federal judge dismissed claims of political bias on Tuesday and denied a motion to step down from hearing the judicial bribery case involving a state Supreme Court justice and a prominent Gulf Coast attorney.
Two former lower court judges are also defendants in the case which is scheduled for trial beginning today.
