Pillow girls extend home winning streak to 33 games

For the third regular season in a row, the Pillow Academy girls basketball team has finished undefeated on its home floor.

The Lady Mustangs crushed rival Washington School, 58-20, on Tuesday night, extending their winning streak at Stribling Gymnasium to 33 games dating back to Feb. 23, 2018.

Pillow Academy hires Crowder as new coach

Pillow Academy didn’t have to go far to find its new head football coach.

Just a week after Tripp McCarty announced he’s leaving to become head of school at Canton Academy, the Mustangs promoted experienced assistant coach Jim Crowder to take over the program on Friday.
