A Mallory Community Health Center mobile bus is set up at the parking lot of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood, 601 Ave. E., to administer the COVID-19 vaccination during a past vaccination drive. The church will be hosting another vaccination drive this Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Friendship Missionary Baptist Church will host its fifth COVID-19 vaccination drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
The drive will be conducted in the parking lot of the church at 601 Ave. E. Mallory Community Health Center personnel will administer shots out of a bus.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
