Officials believe Greenwood infant died from COVID

Leflore County officials believe a Greenwood infant has died from COVID-19, which would make him the youngest victim in the county to die from the virus since the start of the pandemic last year.

Supervisors, hospital board meet

At least 477 in schools quarantined

At least 436 students and 41 teachers and staff members at schools in Leflore and Carroll counties had to quarantine last week after exposure to COVID-19, according to the Mississippi State Department of Health’s latest aggregate school report, issued Tuesday.
