The number of those in need on the Angel Tree has tripled this year, says Capt. Keisha McMullin, a Greenwood Salvation Army corps officer.
“We’re asking the community to come out and adopt an angel, and let’s help make Christmas a joyous time for our children and senior citizens who have come to us for assistance,” she said.
