Leflore County farmers, facing high temperatures and persistent drought, have enjoyed the recent rains in the area.
“They are quite beneficial,” said Andy Braswell Sr., an agent with the Leflore County Extension Service.
“I talked to folks (Monday). It seemed like it was raining all over the world,” he said.
