The Greenwood Police Department’s amnesty program for fine scofflaws, which has been in place since January, has netted $96,980 in back fines, according to Police Chief Henry Purnell.
Purnell announced the total at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. The program, which started in January, will continue through April 1.
