The 1955 murder of Emmett Till, who was accused of wolf-whistling at a white woman at a store in Money, is largely credited with being the catalyst of America’s civil rights movement.
At 3 p.m. May 18, the first Mississippi Freedom Trail marker will be unveiled near the site of the former Bryant’s Grocery and Meat Market in Money.
