The Greenwood City Council is expected to vote this afternoon on filling a vacancy to the city’s School Board.
Greenwood businessman George Ellis has been nominated to serve out the unexpired term of Jimmy Carter, who died April 24.
The term of the appointment, if approved by the council, would be three years.
