TCHULA — A fast-moving house fire early Tuesday claimed the lives of two children, ages 2 and 4, according to Tchula Fire Chief Alphonzo Greer.
The rental house at 1384 Front St. was the home of Carolyn Benford, who the chief said was in her early 30s.
“The mother got out, and the children didn’t,” said Greer.
