Some 1,100 job seekers came to the Leflore County Civic Center on Thursday for the Greenwood-Leflore Area Job Fair.
The turnout was gratifying, said Angela Curry, executive director of the Greenwood-Leflore-Carroll Economic Development Foundation, which sponsored the event with the Governor’s Job Fair Network.
