The Greenwood-Leflore County recycling program has been named “Newest Program of the Year” by the Mississippi Recycling Coalition.
At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Hart Henson, the program’s recycling coordinator, said the program is moving along quickly.
“We’re continuing to grow. We’ve got additional grant funds,” she said.
