Leflore County farmers, stymied by wet field conditions, are struggling to get back to finish planting.
“Up until the first of (last) week, we’ve had good success,” said Jerry Singleton, an agent with the Leflore County Extension Service.
He said corn planting was largely completed before last week’s weather.
