While a rash of auto burglaries in North Greenwood appears to have been halted by the recent arrest of a suspect, people leaving guns in vehicles is a problem, said Greenwood Police Chief Henry Purnell.
“It’s pretty common for people to leave weapons in their vehicles along with other items of value,” he said.
