The Leflore County Board of Supervisors, in an effort to allow judges more flexibility in collecting fines from defendants in Justice Court, has retained a private collection agency.
A contract with Judicial Correction Services Inc., an Atlanta-based company that has an office in Greenwood, was passed by the board on a 3-2 vote.
