Longtime friends and colleagues remember Robert Campbell Wingate, a former Greenwood accountant, as a man with a keen mind and high principles.
“He had about as good a mind as anybody that came through Greenwood,” said longtime friend Noll Davis.
Mr. Wingate, 92, died Tuesday, at The Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, Ky.
