Tuesday’s heavy rain — about 3 inches in an hour — came perilously close to flooding some homes in South Greenwood.
In an effort to eliminate the threat of flooding caused by poor drainage, county and city officials met Thursday at the Leflore County Courthouse to search for possible solutions.
