A 3-foot-long alligator caused a bit of a stir in Baptist Town on Sunday.
The gator was spotted near the Federal Compress, 200 Ave. A, shortly before 5 p.m. by a compress employee.
Greenwood Police Officer Willie Hearn responded. The alligator was captured and removed by a state game warden.
