Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams wants to make Acting Police Chief Ray Moore the permanent head of the city’s law enforcement operation.
The mayor expects, though, her nomination may meet some resistance from the City Council.
“I’m sure this is going to come with some controversy,” she said this morning.
