INDIANOLA — An Itta Bena man, working on his birthday, died from injuries Tuesday sustained when he apparently fell off an industrial lift.
Tavares Williams, 29, died when he fell about 18 feet from the top of a scissor lift, also known as a “manlift,” shortly after 11 a.m., according to Sunflower County Coroner Heather Burton.
