Drive 4UR School is Tuesday

On Tuesday, the campus of Pillow Academy will be transformed into a test drive center as part of the annual Drive 4UR School event, sponsored by Ford Motor Co. and Kirk Brothers Ford/Lincoln.

The event, in which a number of new Ford and Lincoln models will be available for test drives, will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Casino cutback may affect taxes in Leflore Co.

A tax might eventually have to be reimposed on Leflore County property and automobile owners now that a division of Caesars Entertainment Corp. has asked a federal bankruptcy judge for permission to “dismantle and liquidate” part of its shuttered Harrah’s Casino in Tunica.
