Swarms of blackbirds might be an annoyance, but they are “something that we’re just going to have to live with,” says Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams.
In years past, the city has employed noisemakers in an unsuccessful attempt to scare the birds away from roosting in trees in the city’s parks, she said.
