I always believed that folks in Greenwood and the surrounding area naturally had better manners than the rest of us in Mississippi.
In fact, Mamma put this idea in my young head many, many years ago.
The Delta, and Leflore County in particular, stood as an example to hill folk and Gulf Coast folk as how to behave in public.
