An attorney for Sheriel Perkins has said his client's case against Mayor Harry Smith shouldn't be moved to another county.
Willie Perkins Sr., one of her attorneys and her husband, filed an answer late last week to legal pleadings by Smith's attorney, Luke Schissel, who had made the request through legal pleadings on May 3.
